Mid 1900s Scarab Beetle Ring, 24K Gold VIA Eerie Basin
I don’t see natural scarabs mounted in rings too often. Although their iridescent bodies are surprisingly durable, they’re still a little better suited toearrings or necklaces. But for the careful wearer this is a lovely ring. The mount is 24K solid gold, and the scarab is especially bright. It was probably a mid-20th century souvenir of Egypt.
